Maersk Global Service Centers (Philippines) Ltd recently sealed a lease agreement for KPO (knowledge process outsourcing) space in Metro Manila, Philippines. The 8,900 square-meter space is located in Estancia Capitol Commons, a 10-hectare development site. Maersk is set to occupy four floors of Estancia’s North Wing for its 2,700 employees. The leased space is almost half of the total area to be built on the site.

According to Ortigas & Company’s senior VP for real estate, the company recognizes the need for space by the BPO and KPO sector, estimating that about 6 million square feet of office space would be leased this year.

Maersk Global Service Centers (Philippines) Ltd. is the Manila service center of Denmark’s shipping, logistics and energy conglomerate. The Maersk Group operates in global trade, shipping, and oil and gas, with ships and carriers in ports all over the world.
